- 2 cups mashed bananas (about 4 to 5 bananas)
- 1/4 cup sugar or sweetener
- 1/4 cup oil
- 2 tablespoons ground flax seeds
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup powdered oats
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips or walnuts
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, optional
- Milk, as needed if the batter is too thick
- Oil spray or butter for the tray
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
- In a large bowl, mash the bananas.
- Add the sugar or sweetener, oil, flax seeds, and vanilla.
- Add the powdered oats, flour, baking soda, salt, and any optional cinnamon.
- Mix until combined. If the batter is too thick, add a little milk at a time.
- Stir in chocolate chips or walnuts.
- Spray the tray with oil or butter.
- Bake at 350°F for 20 to 24 minutes.
Notes
- This can be baked as bread or bars.
- Use either chocolate chips or walnuts, depending on preference.
